One link. Your customer taps their ID card against the phone's NFC — just like a contactless payment — and their data is cryptographically verified in seconds. And when you need to confirm the person presenting the document is its holder, add biometric verification with liveness detection. No OCR. No passwords. No friction.
Your business sends a link to the user. The rest happens on their phone. You receive the verified data. YOiD stores nothing.
With one API call, you generate a unique link and send it to the user via SMS, email or inside your own app.
They type the 6-digit code found in the bottom-right corner of the ID card. No additional passwords.
They hold the card to the back of the phone. The NFC antenna reads the chip automatically. On iOS, nothing to download.
Compare the photo from the chip against a real-time selfie to confirm it's the same person.
Four real states of the NFC flow. Click to see each screen.
Real screenshots from the YOiD app. The user completes all four steps in under 60 seconds, with nothing to install on iOS.

Can be used as an extra step within the full NFC flow, or as a standalone service when the ID card was already captured at another point.
Especially useful for re-authentication processes: high-value payments, access to sensitive information, document signing.
The experience varies by platform. We explain it with full transparency.
The link opens a native mini-service directly that activates the device's NFC reader. The user downloads nothing. The iPhone's NFC antenna is in the upper-back corner, near the camera.
The link takes the user to download the YOiD app from the Play Store. The NFC antenna's position varies by manufacturer — which is why the app actively guides the user with a search animation.
The digital equivalent of showing your ID card. With the advantage of automatic cryptographic verification.
All that's needed is the ID card. No passwords, no extra PINs, no prior registration. Identity is already in the document.
Far more secure than optical reads (OCR). Cryptographic validation of the chip makes forging the document impossible.
A handful or thousands of verifications per second. YOiD's architecture scales horizontally with no performance loss.
The user decides what information to share and with whom. YOiD stores no personal data. GDPR compliance from the design stage.
The identifying data is read directly from the chip. No OCR, no manual transcription, no spelling or formatting errors.
A process that takes seconds, easy for any user. A success rate above 95% directly improves your onboarding KPI.
